Microscopic Encaustic This is a painting I did in encaustic, which is melted beeswax with pigment added to it.  It started as a photo that I manipulated in Gimp, adhered to a cradled board, painted with wax and carved into the wax.  Available in my Etsy shop: http://www.hkarts.etsy.com
